The Year 2012 In Review

I was just looking at the numbers for the year 2012 in Henderson County residential properties. I knew from my day to day operations that as an office we were doing much better in 2012 VS 2011. Me personally I knew I was having a much better year. I do follow the numbers through-out the year only as a curiosity. My goal is to help the client I am working with to find or sell at the best price and have the information available to help them achieve their goals. The numbers are up for the first time in about 5 years. Overall 2012 had over 40% increase in total volume over 2011, 38% increase in transactions, and a 3% increase in the average sale price. For the first time in about 5 years I am entering 2013 with an optimistic attitude. All the predictions from the so called experts are saying we should continue on a positive path for 2013 with fewer foreclosures even though they and short sales will continue to be a big part of the equation. Take a look at my web site www.RoryMolnar.com and watch the video 1/2 way down to see how the sale of Real Estate affects our economy.
